The Breed Appreciation Day is an opportunity for anyone interested in the breed to gain a better understanding of the Portuguese Podengo (Pequeno). The Breed History and Breed Standard Presentation, with or without lunch, is open to all. However, the full day, which includes the Multi-Choice Exam, is a mandatory requirement for all judges wishing to progress in the Judges Education Programme and will be available only to those candidates who are eligible.

The presentation will be followed by the most important aspect of the day, which no online facility can offer: an opportunity to inspect live specimens of the breed and to be mentored by experts in the breed, led by the one and only world renowned authority on Portuguese Podengos, as well as being a top breeder and an extremely highly respected judge of Portuguese Podengos, worldwide – Gabriela Veiga.
