2023 NPPA Open Show

Results

Our thanks go firstly to all the Association members who helped with the planning, organising and execution of another highly successful show; secondly to our excellent judge Hector Heathcote; and thirdly but not least to all the exhibitors, spectators and dogs who came along to this special day.

We've created a special souvenir booklet with lots of pictures of the day. You can view it below and download a copy via the link on the left. Here are the main results - the full results of each class are in the booklet. (Note: it's an Adobe .pdf document but some portable devices, e.g. some tablets, won't display it within a web browser. If this happens, click the download link and view this.) Happy reading!

Our 2023 Open Show will be held back in Yelvertoft, where our 10th Anniversary show enjoyed a wonderful sunny day and great attendance. Entries are now open and you'll find full details on this page.

We want the show to be more than 'just' a dog show: if you're interested in the breed or if you're thinking about getting started with showing, come along for a friendly introduction and help. Advice is available for novice handlers. The show is open to NPPA members and non-members alike. Spectators are welcome (free entry) and spectator dogs can also be booked in at £1 each. We'll have a stall with all sorts of Podengo memorabilia and this year we'll also have a Kennel Club-accredited 'Good Citizens' scheme tester on hand. If you'd like to put your dog through the Bronze test, there will be a standard £5 test fee: please note all dogs must have an identity tag in line with current legislation. You can download full details of the Bronze test below or at:
